Newsflash

2008 - Goal of the Season
Contenders were Yiannaki’s stunning chip against Nuna (yeah we believe you meant it Yianni) and Jacko’s screaming free-kick against Rowville,
which being the 13th goal finally put the result beyond doubt. However, the unanimous choice for Goal of the Season was Dougie’s amazing winner
down at Warragul, where he waltzed round 5 defenders before unleashing an unstoppable rocket into the top corner from 35 yards. Tragically,
Dougie’s fan club president, Vince, missed this golden moment as he was in the toilet at the time.
